About Me
Hello! I’m Lexi, a Speech-Language Pathologist and Linguist fascinated by the science behind how we speak and connect.
Having spent five years working in school-based settings with younger children, I wanted to also offer services in elective speech therapy, to empower adults to use their voice as a powerful tool for self-expression. Whether you are aiming to enhance your professional speaking, explore character work, or find a speech pattern that aligns with your identity, I combine scientific evidence with personalized coaching to help you communicate how you want to.
Academic Background
I believe that to truly change how you speak, you have to understand how it works. My approach is built on two relevant fields of study:
M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology | La Salle University
A clinical degree that prepares professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders across the lifespan using evidence-based practice
M.A. in Linguistics and Cognitive Science | University of Delaware
A Master of Arts in Linguistics and Cognitive Science is an interdisciplinary degree that explores the structure, acquisition, and mind-brain mechanisms of human language, combining theoretical linguistics with cognitive psychology and neuroscience to understand how language is processed and produced.specialties: phonetics, phonology, first language acquisition, second-language acquisition, and sociolinguistics
Why Work With Me?
My practice is built on a mixture of talk-therapy, scientific approaches, theoretical knowledge, and creative play. Communication is different for everybody, and so are therapy and coaching.
As someone who is queer, neurodivergent, and multilingual, I naturally adapt my energy to match what feels most comfortable for you—whether that means keeping things structured and clinical or relaxed and conversational.
I bring a mix of data-driven technique and empathetic support to every session. We’ll work together in a supportive space to ensure your voice reflects the real you.
Communication Partnership
Communication is a two-way street. Your communication style should honor who you are—not change who you are. My role is to give you the technical tools and clinical insights to speak with clarity, without ever losing your unique identity.
You bring your story, passion, and purpose; I bring the technical tools to help you express them. My focus is simple: ensuring your voice sounds like you and reaches people the way you want it to.
I look forward to partnering with you on your communication goals.
